As a Software Engineer at OCBC, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that transform how we deliver financial services, in a collaborative environment that values creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
What you do
Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions.
Collaborate with product vendors to analyze change requests, review system design, ensure compliance with technology architecture standards, resolve software defects, and manage system deployment.
Develop programs and scripts.
Provide support to SIT and UAT; investigate and resolve technical issues reported in projects.
Support system and performance management, application vulnerability management and control, and software release management.
Plan and commission production system implementations.
Develop technical documents and other SDLC and Agile documents.
Who you are
Preferably with Information Technology / Engineering / Computer Science related degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system/software development; familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance products to design end-to-end flows and provide solutions.
Experience in developing and supporting Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance systems (preferably FinShare) and knowledge of Trade operations.
Technical knowledge in UNIX/RHEL, UNIX shell scripting, Windows Server, Oracle database, SQL, IBM MQSeries, Kafka, WebSphere, Java, XML, Python.
Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD) is advantageous.
Positive, hands-on, resilient, and adaptable with a good willingness to learn and collaborate.
Good self-initiative, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to multi-task and manage priorities.
Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
