Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Continuously analyse platform behaviour and give recommendation for improvements (system/infrastructure)
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Write and maintain custom scripts to lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
Help the network teams with specifications for the monitoring and automation requirements.
Participate in standby roster as needed, providing 2nd / 3rd level support, and ensuring timely resolution of incident tickets.
Write and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
May involve project-based work for the improvement of the network.
Assist in any other duties as assigned from time to time, where applicable.
Familiarization with company’s network architecture and all relevant products/processes in interaction with different platforms
Good experience in networking concepts and equipment such as IPv4/IPv6, MPLS/BGP/OSPF, netflow, routers, switches, load balancers, probes
Good understanding of LAN and WAN technologies based on Huawei, Nokia, Cisco, etc.
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, networking, and troubleshooting
Strong competency in shell and python scripting languages
Knowledge in KVM, Docker/Kubernetes, and ELK stack
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, etc.
Familiarity with high availability system architecture (load balancing, redundancy, caching)
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities (logs analysis, database queries, etc)
Experience in database manipulation and administration (backup, replication, troubleshooting)
Self-learner in new system matters
Ability to work as part of operational team and to support multiple tasks at the same time
Flexibility and adaptability to changing environment and business demands
Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of management, presenting ideas in user-friendly language
Strong written and oral communication skills
