An Infrastructure Senior System Engineer is a professional responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows-based infrastructure and associated technologies within an organization.
Their primary role is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems and applications.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure solutions and systems.
• AWS Cloud administration
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other related services.
• Configure and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Configure and maintain cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, networking, storage, and security.
• Administration of middleware productions, WAF, CDN, ALB, NLB and NetScaler.
• Install, configure, and manage Windows/UNIX servers and services at datacentres.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions.
• Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Windows-related issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and application deployments.
