Teacher-Aide (Uplift Programme)
Contract Period: 01 Jan 2026 – 31 Dec 2026
Working Hours
Personnel will be deployed as follows:
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Fridays: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services
The Teacher-Aide (Uplift Programme) will provide support in the following areas:
Collaborate with external partners and assist in managing after-school programmes, including monitoring attendance and maintaining discipline of student groups.
Support the Assistant Year Head (AYH) in designing customised daily after-school programmes for segmented groups of high needs (HN) students to motivate engagement and attendance.
Monitor individual HN students closely during and after school, track their progress, and provide regular updates to the Head of Department (HOD).
Assist in organizing Learning Journeys for HN students in coordination with the AYH.
Provide support for HR and administrative operations, including record-keeping and filing, and perform other duties as assigned by the Administration Manager and School Leaders.
This role focuses on after-school programme management, support for high-needs students, and administrative assistance within the school environment.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
At least 3 years of experience working in primary schools or educational settings as educators or teaching support staff
Minimum 1 year experience supporting students with high needs or special educational requirements
Ability to monitor and manage students in completing tasks independently
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students and parents
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record-keeping and filing
