to join our
Middle/High School
teams.


About the Role:
The Teaching Assistant (TA) will provide support to the Japanese Language Acquisition and Japanese Language and Literature teachers in delivering engaging, effective, and differentiated learning experiences for Middle and High School students.

Given the combined class structures (multiple phases and grade levels taught together), the TA will play a key role in supporting individualized learning, assisting with classroom management, and extending learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom to ensure that all students are safe, supported, and successful.


Position Requirements:
Strong Interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to support diverse learners
Excellent communication in Japanese (native or near-native proficiency) and English to support bilingual learners.


Ability to work under pressure, and show initiative.


Competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning support
Demonstrated passion for language learning and working with adolescents.


Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience working with children/teens in an educational setting.


Experience in language teaching or support roles is an advantage.
