About the Role
Are you an IT university student passionate about HR tech, automation, and programming ?
We're on the lookout for a HR Tech & Automation Intern who's eager not only to implement tools but also to explore bold new ideas for transforming how HR operates.
This role is perfect if you enjoy experimenting with technology, coding up solutions, and finding creative ways to cut down manual work.
You'll help us reimagine HR processes by testing, building, and deploying automation that makes a real impact on efficiency and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
HR Software Implementation
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of HR software.
- Customize solutions to fit real business needs and user workflows.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with HR systems.
Automation & Scripting (Python, VBA, etc.)
- Develop automation scripts to eliminate repetitive HR tasks such as:
Leave application form consolidation
Timesheet data processing
Payroll data validation and reporting
- Research and experiment with new ways of automating HR workflows , bringing in fresh ideas and approaches.
Data Processing & Reporting
- Support HR data collection, cleaning, and analysis for decision-making.
- Build automated dashboards and reports to track HR performance metrics.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with HR and IT teams to uncover pain points and design smart solutions.
- Document automation processes so others can build upon your work.
Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in HR tech, automation, and scripting.
- Skills in one or more:
Python (automation, data processing)
VBA Macros (Excel automation)
SQL, Power Query, or data tools
- Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Problem-solver who enjoys collaborating across teams.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with HRMS (e.g., Infotech, Workday, SAP HR, BambooHR, etc.)
- Familiarity with API integration or low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate).
- Knowledge of database management and report automation.
