Tech Sales & Business Development Manager
Working closely with the management of our Tech business unit, the Tech Sales and Business Development Manager is the technical and sales 1st point of contact for our clients and prospects.
His/her mission is to demonstrate to potential clients how our company standardized technology solutions fit into their business and technological environment and how they can positively impact them.
A technical engineering and entrepreneurial mind-set as well as a very strong motivation to seize a challenging opportunity and succeed are necessary to support sales development and be successful in this exciting role.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets; identify new market opportunities across B2B, retail, and distribution channels; monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead; lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and channel partners; provide training and support to improve performance and achieve sales goals; foster a strong, collaborative, and results-driven sales culture.
Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients; manage customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction; lead contract negotiations and resolve client issues when needed; track sales performance and prepare regular forecasts and reports; use data to analyze trends and improve sales effectiveness; manage the full sales pipeline from lead to deal closure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing to run campaigns and promotions; coordinate with product and support teams to align on customer needs; share client feedback to help improve products and services.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within IT services, digital solutions, or technology sectors.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts into client-focused business solutions.
Knowledgeable in commercial and contractual arrangements related to IT and technology sales.
Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with multiple internal teams and external partners or clients.
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Ability to quickly learn and integrate company procedures, opportunities, and constraints.
Skilled in managing ambiguity and adjusting strategies to changing market conditions.
Additional Preferred Skills: Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Visualization, and Data Management is a plus.
