Responsibilities
- Accountablefor end to end delivery of Cash Management Program from pre-projectto post go live support
- Plan, track and manage budgets & resources
- Vendormanagement SOWs, budgets, invoice approvals , resourceonboarding /offboarding and governance through regular governancemeetings
- Providingtechnical leadership and guidance to team
- Partneringwith business stakeholders, architects to understand businessrequirements and low level technical design
- Plan,manage, track delivery through a combination of agile tools andtraditional planning tools where required to ensure overall deliveryacross all streams are sequenced and tracked
- Ensurerisks are pro-actively managed and highlighted in right forums toseek support for resolution
- Deliverproject in guidance and adherence to Banks software delivery,security, release management standard & guidelines.
- Ensureall deliverables, checkpoints are planned and delivered to meet thebanks standards and quality gates
- Pro-activeplanning on development dependencies and plan and track them toclosure
- Ensurequality standards are built into the development phase with aquality first approach
- Measureand monitor progress and quality using data oriented approach
- Participatein scrum of scrums and cross stream meetings to discuss, highlightdependencies across systems.
- Conductregular checkpoints ( daily scrums , weekly project meetings) andtrack actions to closure
- Putin change management processes to manage and deliver agreed businessoutcomes
- Duringtest phases, actively drive defect fixes to meet SLAs. measureand manage defect density, re-open rates
- Promotea culture of inclusiveness and have active participation from theteam during team meetings and standups.
- identifyareas of improvement from each sprint and work towards continuousimprovement to improve sprint velocity and quality
Leadingand contributing to cross-team improvement initiatives relating toagile methods, CI/CD tools, people, architecture, project managementand governance, including further adoption and improvements to theBanks System Development Methodology (SDM)
Skills
- Atleast 12-15 yrs experience with a track record of successfullydelivering complex projects
- Atleast 5 years in managing / building applications in payments, cashmanagement, Channels domain
- Shouldhave had at least 5 years experience in managing large scaleprojects & building applications from scratch using APIs andmicro services and leading multiple streams
- Shouldhave prior experience in managing virtual teams in onsite/offshoremodel
- Shouldhave a development background and the right level of experience andexpertise to coach and design, plan and deliver complex applications
- Abilityto work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Ownnoverall delivery and drive teams velocity
