The Job:-
- Demonstrate safety leadership by meeting or exceeding the safety targets and directives set forth for the Technical Department
- Initiate and manage capital projects in accordance to Chevron Project Development & Execution Process (CPDEP)
- Provide process engineering and optimization support for the facility including energy and process improvement studies, process monitoring and performance benchmarking
- Lead the development of continuous improvement and gap closure activities for the site, including energy improvement, process troubleshooting and business transformation initiatives
- Act as Subject Matter Expert of various Operational Excellence procedures
- Manage plant information monitoring system, Advance Alarm Management (AAM) and Asset Information Management (AIM) systems
- Supports Process Safety Management (PSM) by participating in process hazard analysis studies, incident investigations and Management of Change (MOC) process
- Provide engineering supports for Safety Case, turnaround and other plant related activities
- Responsible for complex coordination works
Qualification/Experience: -
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of project management and working experiences in a petrochemical plant or oil refinery
- A strong personal commitment to safety along with strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplined teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate skills in evaluating and prioritizing work to ensure alignment with the department's goals
- Knowledge in Process Safety and Safety Case
- Highly motivated and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Preferably with Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification
