The Role
As a Supervising Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of facilities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Monitor and report faults, operational issues, and emergencies handled by internal and external contractors
- Ensure timely response and resolution of incidents in accordance with stipulated service levels
- Review completed work and documentation to ensure compliance with authority requirements
- Manage feedback and helpdesk operations, including setup and active response to estate-related queries
- Engage proactively with building tenants on facilities management matters
- Raise Work Orders and Purchase Orders using the Authority's procurement systems
- Oversee quality control of all services, goods, and works delivered by contractors and suppliers
- Support Building System Engineers and FM Managers in their operational duties
- Maintain accurate records and ensure administrative compliance
- Foster a safe and efficient working environment across the site
What Are We Looking For?
We're seeking a dedicated professional with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar field
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Independent and accountable with proven leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resourceful and adaptable in dynamic environments
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Proficient in administrative systems and procurement processes
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance
- Customer-centric approach to stakeholder engagement
