Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing laboratory/site test in order to produce reliable and precise data
- Carrying out routine task accurately and following methodologies to carry out analyses
- Preparing specimens and samples
- Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment for example wash and clean the equipment after use.
Keep the equipment in proper place - Ensuring laboratory is well stocked such as substrate, consumables
- Recording and sometimes interpreting result to present senior or supervisor
- Using computers and performing calculation of results
- Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
- Conducting searches on identified test and read the standard
- Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety check
- Ensure delivery of the test schedule and result on time.
- Integrity in delivering the test result must be upheld and should not be influence (such as site test or lab test by external party)
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Nitec in Engineering (Mechanical, Polymer or Chemical Process)
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Comfortable to work at height
- Possess Class 3 licence (good to have)
- Willing to work overtime or on weekends when needed
- Able to work independently or as a team
