Job description

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in network capacity planning, internet infrastructure, deployment planning or network protocols and network troubleshooting.

  • 2 years of experience working with ISPs and peering.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, automation, workflow systems.

  • Ability to design and facilitate the implementation of large-scale networking data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large scale network projects with competing priorities while ensuring timelines are met.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of edge capacity delivery projects to support peering growth and performance requirements.

  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks specific to edge capacity delivery, such as hardware delays, site access issues, power constraints, and potential disruptions during upgrades.

  • Understand and align project activities with the overall peering strategy and goals of the organization.

  • Manage and drive the execution of peering projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
