About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and deliver complex IT projects within the eCommerce and Retail domain .
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, hands-on technical understanding across system engineering and integration, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional and multilingual teams.
You will be responsible for managing project delivery end-to-end from planning and execution to delivery and stakeholder communication ensuring all initiatives meet scope, quality, and budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, scope, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal development teams , vendors , and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee system engineering aspects including system lifecycle, interfaces/integration, configuration management, and risk mitigation.
- Define and track project deliverables, KPIs, and milestones using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Manage project documentation - including project plans, risk registers, and progress reports.
- Ensure alignment with architecture standards, technical design, and compliance requirements.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin with regional teams and vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and act as a trusted advisor between business and engineering teams.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within budget, scope, and quality expectations.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 7–12 years in IT Project Management, with recent hands-on experience in system engineering or technical delivery .
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in eCommerce or Retail projects (e.g., digital platforms, POS, ERP, order management, or payment systems).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of system lifecycle, integrations, and configurations.
- Familiar with DevOps, CI/CD, or system implementation processes.
- Ability to discuss architecture and design at a technical level.
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum experience with certification preferred (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
- Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
- Education: Degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
