Sauer Compressors Singapore, part of an innovative and expanding international group of companies, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team.
This entry-level role is ideal for a career-minded individual with a passion for technical sales and customer engagement.
You will play a key role in supporting our sales operations, building client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions across Southeast Asia.
Collaborate with Technical Sales Executive, Regional Business Development Manager to develop and execute sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Distributors, Partners and other Sauer subsidiaries across the region.
Support the proposal team in managing projects from initial inquiry through engineering, production, delivery, and commissioning.
Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Prepare and present technical and pricing proposals in response to customer requests.
Initiate and manage the sales order process upon receipt of purchase orders.
Continuously expand product and industry knowledge through training and self-study.
Coordinate order changes and updates with customers and internal teams.
Liaise with internal departments to arrange shipping and commissioning schedules, including preparation of purchase order and update of delivery status.
Contribute to departmental and organizational goals.
Maintain accurate records and updates in Salesforce CRM.
Participate in occasional travel for customer visits, training, or trade events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Familiarity with technical publications and industrial equipment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
