Job description

Are you a technically savvy professional with deep knowledge of marine sensors, instrumentation, and control systems?

Do you understand the dynamics of the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) market and enjoy working with both existing customers and generating new business?
Atlas Marine Services Pte Ltd is expanding, and we are looking for a driven and hands-on Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Singapore.

In this role, you will take ownership of sales activities for our Instrumentation & Control Systems portfolio within the marine industry – supporting key clients and exploring new opportunities in Southeast Asia.


You’ll be reporting directly to the Country Manager and will be instrumental in bridging technical expertise with client needs, ensuring high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction.


Manage and grow a portfolio of existing marine clients.


Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore and the region.


Provide technical sales support on instrumentation, sensors, and control systems for marine applications.


Understand client needs and propose suitable testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services and products.


Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation in collaboration with internal teams.


Maintain strong market knowledge and monitor industry trends.


Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.


Collaborate closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.


Requirements
Who you are
A Singapore Citizen with a technical background (Engineering, Marine Electronics, Instrumentation or similar).


“Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Marine Electronics, or a related technical field.”
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical sales within the marine or offshore industry.


Strong knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and control systems for marine applications.


Familiar with the TIC industry – experience with classification societies, port authorities, or inspection bodies is a plus.


Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-oriented.


Willing to travel within the region occasionally, as needed.
