Domain Ownership: Contribute to the overall ABAP development, basis, portal, authorization (SAP), and integration strategy of the SAP solutions (S4HANA & SuccessFactors) in the Singtel group (Singtel / NCS / Optus).
While the core applications are S4HANA and SuccessFactors, the candidate should have the capabilities to easily adopt new non-SAP technologies like iValua and CCH Tagetik and others.
The candidate must possess the vision and hands-on experience to formalize, standardize, govern, and evolve the design and standards in these SAP and non-SAP technology areas with the objective to deliver best practice, efficient, dependable, and cost-effective solutions to support the solutions.
The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of a wide array of SAP and non-SAP technologies and is expected to define and enforce development standards, basis administration policies, authorization setup and governance, portal and interface standards, and integration policies, standards, and tools.
The candidate is expected to know the functionalities and capabilities of common COTS applications that integrate into SAP and non-SAP solutions and evaluate their fit for use.
Supporting the multiple SAP and non-SAP functional teams to deliver business solutions to their stakeholders, this candidate plays the critical role of ensuring the best fit technical solutions for all delivered solutions.
Project Delivery: Overall responsible for the design and delivery of SAP technical solutions in the Singtel group.
Review all technical requirements in projects and change requests.
Ensure technical delivery in projects and change requests are completed on time and with no defects.
Team Management: Manage a global Application Managed Support outsource team to ensure that both in-house and outsource teams work efficiently together.
Operational Excellence: Ensure SAP development, authorization, and integration changes are timely addressed and delivered within expected SLAs. Ensure continuous improvements to the technology and processes through proactive review and optimization initiatives.
Recommend and implement major improvements that have significant benefit to IT or the business.
Make an Impact by:
Domain Ownership: Together with the functional teams, drive and establish a technology landscape roadmap with the objective to bring more value and efficiency to our solutions.
Review all technical requirements in change requests and projects.
KPI: A 3-year technology landscape roadmap for the Singtel group’s SAP and non-SAP applications to support and anticipate the future needs of the business.
Project Delivery: Support delivery of projects with timely resources and relevant expertise.
Contribute to delivery of projects that are on time, in scope, and below budget.
KPI: All tasks executed by the technical team are delivered on time, and below budget.
Defects after go live (1st month) should not have more than 5 hours spent on defect resolution.
Project satisfaction score by stakeholders should be positive.
Team Management: Establish a truly integrated team (in-house and outsource AMS) that work seamlessly across geographical locations.
Maintain a highly effective team by ensuring poor performers are replaced promptly.
KPI: Identify areas that team members can work seamlessly regardless of systems/location.
Team is able to share work and resources regardless of systems or locations.
Operational Excellence: Ensure that systems and services are running according to agreed SLAs. Constantly deliver improvement initiatives that add value to both IT and the business.
KPI: 90% of Incidents are addressed within SLAs. Recommend and implement 2 internal improvement initiatives that will increase IT efficiency by 20%.
Recommend and implement solutions that will result in IT cost savings for the business by at least $250K every year.
Skills for Success:
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or IT with a solid 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP/FIORI/HANA Development and SAP PI/PO/CPI.
At least 6 years with consulting companies as a technical consultant/specialist for SAP Development and Integration for at least 3 major projects.
