The Role:

As a Cluster Technical Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of various laboratory clusters.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting technical operations across multiple lab clusters to ensure seamless functionality.

Preparing lab materials and equipment for classes, workshops, and events.

Maintaining laboratory cleanliness and ensuring equipment is ready and in working condition.

Assisting lecturers with practical class demonstrations and trial runs.

Performing basic troubleshooting and coordinating equipment servicing or repairs.

Managing goods receipt, verifying delivery orders, and notifying requestors.

Assisting with chemical and biohazard waste disposal in collaboration with the Central Service team.

Participating in annual asset stock take and inventory management.

Supporting WSH and QEHS audits and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Handling administrative tasks such as lab requests and procurement of equipment and consumables.

What Are We Looking For?

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with:

A Higher NITEC or Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Material Science, or related fields.

Basic knowledge of analytical instruments and chemistry.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Flexibility to support different lab clusters as needed.

A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting and follow up on servicing.
