About the Role
The Comms and Branding Executive will work with the team to execute a social media strategy and draft posts to strengthen our brand presence across SPH Media social media platforms.
You are also responsible for drafting, content planning, creation of content and uploading of content for the corporate website.
You will also be required to edit and send out media monitoring reports to senior management.
The scope of responsibilities includes these:
Social Media
Execute social media strategies aligned with overall brand and marketing goals
Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
Create, curate, and manage high-quality visual and written content tailored to each channel
Monitor trends, conversations, and competitors to optimise engagement and relevancy
Track and report on KPIs such as engagement, reach, growth, and conversions
Website
Maintain and update website content, visuals, and functionality using CMS (e.g. WordPress)
Draft content and updates for the SPH Media corporate website in alignment with our message house to build brand affinity
Ensure optimal SEO performance through regular audits and updates (metadata, keywords, internal linking, etc.)
Analyse web traffic and user behaviour using tools like Google Analytics
Work closely with design and development teams to improve UX/UI and overall website performance
Support landing page creation for campaigns, product launches, and lead generation
Communications
Assist in the preparation of media materials such as media release and media invites
Consolidate media RSVPs for events
Edit media monitoring reports
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
Three years of experience in social media management and web content administration.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content strategies, and audience engagement.
Proficiency with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Strong writing skills that can engage audiences via the various platforms
Strong communicator with proficiency in English and a second language
Advanced stakeholder management and presentation skills
Good time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Thrive in matrixed environments and is adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders.
An excellent communicator and creative thinker
A self-starter who is analytical and meticulous
Video editing and motion graphic skills are a bonus
Experience with paid social campaigns and performance marketing
Familiarity with UX principles and A/B testing
