Job Scope:
Liaise with hotel and transportation vendors to secure venue, accommodations, and transport for programme participants.
Liaise internally with trainers and school administrators to ensure the schedule for the i-SEA program is up to date.
Act as the first point of contact for vendors, invited guest speakers, and participants, and attend to their inquiries and requests before and during the program.
Manage and be responsible for the week-long day-to-day running of the hackathon segment in the program.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent in the humanities or social sciences discipline.
2 to 3 years of full-time event/ project management experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, academics, and industry partners from diverse SEA cultural backgrounds.
Meticulous attention to details, especially in managing schedules, bookings, and participants’ information.
Any other tasks related to event management and coordination that may be assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8.30am to 5.45pm, Fri: 8.30am to 5.15pm
Contract Period: 2 months
Salary: $3500 - $4300/month (depending on experience and qualifications)
