Temporary Senior Executive, Human Resources (LKCMedicine)
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care.
The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian.
Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research.
The School's primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching.
The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School.
In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities.
Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.
The Temporary Senior Executive, Human Resources will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to the following:
- Provide support in posting of job advertisements, screening of resumes, coordinating and arranging for interviews, preparation of employment contracts and any HR-related letters to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Coordinate the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding (first-day arrangements, monthly HR orientation, and induction logistics) and offboarding (exit clearance, preparation of exit documents, and coordination with stakeholders), to ensure smooth transitions and positive employee experiences.
- Provide support for HR transactional activities and processes in Workday across various HR functions, while assisting HR Business Partners in delivering tasks and requests accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Provide end-to-end HR administrative support across key areas such as benefits administration, contract renewals/approvals, employee engagement activities, and recruitment.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, prepare HR reports, and ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Support HR-led initiatives and events, respond to employee queries promptly, and perform ad-hoc HR duties to ensure seamless HR operations and positive employee experiences.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant HR experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
