Responsibilities:
· Provide rehabilitative care for patients with hand and upper limb conditions
· Assess, develop and identify rehabilitation needs of patients
· Implement treatment plans to facilitate, restore, improve or maintain patient's abilities to perform self care
· Educate & provide training for family members and/or caregivers when necessary
· Re-assess timely and modify intervention plans when needed for patients referred for occupational therapy
· Evaluate and prescribe assistive devices required by patients
· Develop competence of occupational therapy assistants when needed
· Maintain proper record for all patients accurately and promptly
· Involve in administrative duties such as charging, statistics collection & etc
· Collaborate with other healthcare members in multi-disciplinary team
· Participate and assist in managing clinical and/or service initiatives
· Any other duties assigned as and when by the Company
Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
· Registered with Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
· Possess BCLS certificate
· Minimum 3 years relevant working experience with hand/limbs rehabilitation
· Able to work independently as well as in a team
· Passionate about hand therapy
· Skilled in thermoplastic splinting
· Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
· Display good clinical knowledge, judgement and decision making in the provision of care
