Responsibilities:
Provide rehabilitative care for patients with hand and upper limb conditions
Assess, develop and identify rehabilitation needs of patients
Implement treatment plans to facilitate, restore, improve or maintain patient's abilities to perform self care
Educate & provide training for family members and/or caregivers when necessary
Re-assess timely and modify intervention plans when needed for patients referred for occupational therapy
Evaluate and prescribe assistive devices required by patients
Develop competence of occupational therapy assistants when needed
Maintain proper record for all patients accurately and promptly
Involve in administrative duties such as charging, statistics collection & etc
Collaborate with other healthcare members in multi-disciplinary team
Participate and assist in managing clinical and/or service initiatives
Any other duties assigned as and when by the Company
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
Registered with Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
Possess BCLS certificate
Minimum 3 years relevant working experience with hand/limbs rehabilitation
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Passionate about hand therapy
Skilled in thermoplastic splinting
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Display good clinical knowledge, judgement and decision making in the provision of care
