Our Logistics Procurement team plays a critical role in shaping and executing sourcing and logistics strategies that drive sustainable growth for the business.
As a trusted partner across regions, we work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver value through cost optimization, risk management, and best-in-class procurement practices.
With expertise in e-commerce logistics, warehousing, and contract management, the team ensures operational excellence, compliance, and long-term partnerships that support the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of sourcing strategies and implementation of e commerce logistics strategies aligned with business objectives and long term growth plan.
Support regional strategies with market insights, emerging trends and intelligence to maximise opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead supplier development or joint business plan on value creation.
Proactively identify supply risks and develop mitigation plan.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, identify opportunities for savings, and implement best-in-class procurement practices and tools.
- Lead contract development for suppliers and regional initiatives, in alignment with specific business needs and legal requirements, work in close collaboration with the cross functional team to ensure contract implementation and compliance.
- Collaborate with other geography procurement teams to ensure full visibility to category strategies and ensure sharing of best practices.
- Mitigate risks by ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably gained within FMCG, E-commerce, Logistics or Hospitality industry.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Japanese to manage business documents and discussions.
- Good understanding of logistics and warehousing, or e-commerce logistics.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams (., Operations, Legal, Finance).
- Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in Excel.
- Adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Flexibility in cross-time zone and regional cooperation.
- Experience in eCommerce marketplaces is a plus.
