Job Scope
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative precision tools and fixtures
- Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct tools and materials testing to ensure quality and efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and support to the manufacturing team
- Maintain documentation and records for all tooling and manufacturing processes
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tooling Engineer in a precision manufacturing environment
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software and computer-controlled machining tools
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
