Job Duties
Prepare deal reports after traders confirm recaps and ensure all relevant details are accurately recorded.
Review supplier contracts and draft sales contracts, ensuring all required internal reviews by legal, risk, and finance teams are completed and approvals are obtained on time.
Communicate with headquarters to confirm loading and discharge requirements for each cargo.
Liaise with suppliers and appointed surveyors to ensure all operational instructions are clearly conveyed and strictly followed.
Handle vessel clearance procedures, send documentary instructions and discharge orders, appoint surveyors, and closely monitor the physical movement of cargo to ensure timely loading and unloading.
Coordinate closely with Trade Finance and suppliers to ensure Letters of Credit, prepayments, or Payment Guarantees are issued or received promptly, avoiding any delays in cargo operations.
Maintain and update cargo files and internal systems such as ETRM to reflect accurate and up-to-date trade information.
Reconcile voyage and storage records to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Undertake any other operational duties as assigned to support overall trading activities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
At least 10 years of relevant experience in trading operations, preferably in oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors
Strong understanding of logistics, contracts, trade finance (including LCs, PCGs), and trade lifecycle processes
Proficiency with ETRM systems is preferred
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and review Chinese documents.
