Upskills provides expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe region.

With a strong, Front to Back expertise of cash and derivatives markets, coupled by an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart, business-wise, and efficient solutions.

We are seeking a highly-motivated Front Office Trading Consultant with good knowledge and experience in Trading Support to join our client's dynamic Front Office Team.

As a Trading Support Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Front Office Trading Systems used by the cash equity trading desk.

Additionally, you are not limited to:

  • Analyse business processes and functional requirements, perform gap analysis between existing and required solution to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement enhancements to the trading systems.
  • Responsible for Business-as-Usual support of applications including any enhancements projects and production support as well as monitoring. 
  • Work with the users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move the system toward go-live.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Front Office traders, addressing their queries and issues related to the trading systems.


Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Business Analysis, Financial Engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • Sound knowledge & functional experience with at least 2 asset classes.

    E.g. FX, MM, FIX, IRD

  • Possess experience of gathering and analyzing requirements from users.
  • Familiar with financial instruments representation and their lifecycle management.
  • Experience in the implementation or Trading Support of a Front Office system within a bank.
  • Possess working experience on Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pretrade) is a great plus.
  • Able to work in a team environment, focused on providing high quality of service to the client.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations
  • Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
