Responsibilities:
- Monitor and regulate train services in real time according to the timetable.
- Make quick decisions during disruptions (e.g., faults, accidents), coordinating with Operations and Maintenance staff to ensure safety and service recovery.
- Disseminate accurate and timely information, including passenger announcements and coordination with government agencies or external organizations.
- Assist the Chief Controller in information sharing with stations and commuters.
- Manage depot and track access during both traffic and non-traffic hours to ensure smooth maintenance and operational activities.
Requirements:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related fields or Diploma / Degree holders in Engineering or related fields (for higher-level roles).
- Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong stress tolerance with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Good communication and coordination skills; bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is preferred for handling announcements and external communication.
- Proficient in using computer systems and OCC software.
- Calm under pressure, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
