Responsibilities
Primary Objectives:
Investigate and resolve trade breaks in a timely manner.
Ensure all positions and expiries are managed within exchange cutoff times.
Complete regional regulatory reporting accurately and on time.
Handle daily transactional activities, position and event management, and ensure timely completion.
Manage daily client money reconciliations and controls for APAC exchanges, complying with applicable regulations.
Ensure key controls are completed appropriately and on a timely basis.
Participate in BAU change topics, projects or improvement plans as required.
Manage BAU change projects in accordance with internal policies and industry best practice.
Handle direct client transactional queries, investigate for proper resolution, and direct to appropriate teams as needed.
Develop expertise of Societe Generale’s business and clearing platform to understand business and supporting platforms.
Develop expertise of client setup and collaborate with business as well as offshore/global teams.
Follow the Follow the Sun protocol for inbound clients and regional/global exchange markets.
Report and escalate significant issues and blocking points to the manager promptly.
Back up the team by covering other activities as needed and proactively, professionally.
Cross-train with teammates and ensure effective communication/handovers of BAU activities.
Maintain up-to-date procedures and adhere to Group policies and exchange rules where appropriate.
Profile required
Academic Background and Certifications, Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or finance fields.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, sense of service, and flexibility.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Team player with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Proficient in MS Office.

Department Description
The Derivatives Clearing Operations team supports post-trade activities for Societe Generale’s ETD, FX and OTC businesses, servicing Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Corporations.
This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Client Middle Office (MO) manager in Singapore.
Market coverage: Global ETD markets.
