We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of training sessions and classroom activities.
This role involves manual work and coordination with clients, trainers, and internal teams to ensure rooms and resources are properly set up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and rearrange tables and chairs according to event/class requirements
- Usher and guide clients to designated rooms
- Support basic AV setup – including connecting laptops, projectors, and microphones
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues during events or training
- Monitor and restock training materials and pantry supplies as needed
- Pack and prepare training equipment, materials, and logistics for our own courses and workshops
- Provide support at the front desk, including attending to walk-in enquiries, answering calls, and assisting with registrations when required
- Assist in day-to-day logistical operations for training sessions and ad-hoc events
- Clear bins, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of training and consultation rooms
- Any other duties as and when assigned by Manager
Hours
- Working hours
Mondays to Fridays 8.30am - 6.00pm
2-3 Saturdays a month (approx.
2-3 hours depending on event timing) - Paid OT will be given if applicable
Requirements
- Friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with clients
- Punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours (especially Saturdays)
- Able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Basic knowledge of AV equipment (e.g., laptop-to-projector connection, mic setup) preferred
- Must be able to clear bins, vacuum, maintain cleanliness of training rooms and comfortable with manual tasks (e.g., lifting tables and chairs)
