Key Responsibilities
It's more focused on finance operations and payment processing.
You'll be working as part of the payments team, handling day-to-day transactions for retail and corporate clients.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Executing and verifying payment instructions such as client settlements, trade transactions, and institutional fund transfers.
- Making sure payments are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with both internal SOPs and MAS/AML regulations.
- Performing reconciliations and solving discrepancies quickly.
- Supporting audit and compliance checks with proper documentation.
- Keeping detailed records of all transactions for traceability
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
- Ideally 1–3 years in a similar role – e.g., finance operations, payments, settlements, or treasury.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (to work with clients, auditors, and internal teams).
- Meticulous and detail-oriented (important for handling payments accurately).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Excel especially important for reconciliation and reporting).
