Responsible for designing, developing and testing software modules, ensuring optimal functionality and integration within complex systems.
The role demands a combination of in-depth technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Features of the Position
Own and prioritise RTB and CTB backlogs ensuring clarity, transparency and alignment with business goals
Investigate and resolve production issues to help maintain a stable production environment
Balance Functional and Non-Functional requirements (Performance, Scalability, Security etc)
Client / Stakeholder Management (internal & external)
Stake holder management – working closely with ITSO, Business Engineers, Production Support team and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery
Analyse requirements, estimate efforts, plan timeline, manage progress
Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards

Professional and Technical
Work together in a cross functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps centric model.
Understand business needs by working together with your colleagues from across different divisions of Julius Baer and translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions
Take part of planning and feature refinement sessions together with your team.
Stake holder management – working closely with Ops, Production support team, BAs and PMs to drive and manage IT delivery
Together with Solution Architects design software solutions that are aligned to Julius Baer's overall architecture vision.
Deliver high quality code, aligned with Julius Baer guidelines and standards.
Technical
10 years of experience with Triple ‘A plus Technologies and platforms
Domain knowledge in wealth management products and offerings
Deep understanding of the areas like Order management, positions and performance calculations
Good functional understanding of business data flow between TAP and T24
Strong hands-on experience on Shell scripting, PL/SQL and TAP Scripting
Strong understanding and experience with Agile development and Dev-ops
At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing team of atleast 3-5 developers
