Roles and Responsibilities
As an UX engineer you will support our automation department and be responsible for building and maintaining UX design to visualise front-end content and interactive design elements on the automation, semi-auto and manual tooling.
You will also assist the automation team with phototypes and collaborate with process and engineering teams on manufacturing processes study, analyse user feedback and help implement continuous improvement using tools like Figma and Fusion 360 to ensure user-friendly tooling.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX design – Assist in creating wireframes, gantt chart, process flows and visual mockups for user experience.
Process/Tooling research and analysis – Conduct user interviews and feasible study to understand user needs and behaviors.
Cross functional Collaboration – Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Deployment and support – Able to adapt deployment to manufacturing environment and provide post-implementation support including training, maintenance and debugging.
Continuous Improvement – Continue to identify improvement opportunities on manufacturing process and tooling use for quality improvement, improve lead time and cost savings.
Key Skills
Proficient in UI/UX principles and experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe, Sketch up and Fusion 360
Communication and collaboration – Ability to communicate clearly on design ideas and collaborate effectively with other cross-functional teams and end-user
Analytical Skills – Capable to organise and analyze research data and problems to inform design decisions.
Requirements
Minimum diploma in user design and related fields
Requires travel to local and overseas sites for project study and implementation.
Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia will be advantageous, due to interaction with stakeholders on project study and implementation.
