UI/UX + Visual Designer

Job description

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong visual design skills to craft a modern, intuitive, and engaging mobile pet care app.

Beyond clean layouts and user-friendly flows, you should also be able to create lightweight animations / GIFs / micro-interactions to bring the interface to life.

Your Role

  • Design the UI/UX of a mobile pet care app with clean layouts, intuitive logging, and soft, modern aesthetics (21–40 age group).

  • Create micro-animations / GIFs / digital assets that enhance engagement (e.g. progress indicators, playful category icons, celebratory moments).

  • Ensure logging and tracking flows are effortless, visually appealing, and emotionally engaging.

  • Deliver Figma prototypes and animation assets ready for handoff to developers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design for health/wellness/tracker apps.

  • Strong portfolio with modern, pastel/gradient-friendly design (not stark minimalism, but clean and approachable).

  • Strong grasp of hierarchy, typography, and component consistency.

  • Ability to make complex data input simple and fun (e.g. calendar selections, quick-tap chips, category badges).

  • Ability to produce animated UI elements, GIFs, or micro-motion assets (After Effects, Lottie, or similar tools).

  • Strong sense of visual storytelling and branding consistency.

  • Proficiency in Figma (plus bonus if skilled in motion/illustration tools).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of gamification design (streaks, rewards, nudges).

  • Experience designing for emotional logging interfaces (emoji selectors, mood trackers).

  • Understanding of motion as feedback (loading states, confirmations, nudges).

Engagement

  • Project-based (scope and milestones defined upfront).

  • Remote-friendly.
