Customer Service Assistant – 4-Month Contract
Salary: Up to $3,000/month (based on experience)
Location: IMM / Jurong East
Schedule: 6-day rotating shifts, including weekends & public holidays
- Shift 1: 10am – 6pm
- Shift 2: 12pm – 8pm
- Shift 3: 2pm – 10pm
(Hours may vary based on operational needs)
About the Role:
Deliver exceptional service to shoppers while supporting daily operations and marketing initiatives.
Create a welcoming and engaging environment for shoppers and tenants alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle shopper enquiries, lost & found, and incident reporting professionally
- Promote digital solutions, e.g., eGift-With-Purchase, mobile app, eVouchers, and online chat
- Stationed at key mall locations to assist shoppers and encourage app sign-ups
- Make periodic mall announcements per standard guidelines
- Conduct roving duties to ensure cleanliness, flag issues, and provide tenant support
- Educate tenants on loyalty programs, eVouchers, and marketing initiatives
- Identify and recommend outstanding tenant staff for the Excellent Service Award (EXSA)
- Plan and conduct tenant briefings and product knowledge sessions; report insights to the CMO team
- Support marketing activities, document events, new store openings, and gather shopper feedback
- Maintain marketing materials, POSMs, and display panels
- Update the mall website and digital directories; manage duty rosters and email correspondence
- Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- GCE 'O' Levels or above
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, mall operations, or frontline retail/hospitality preferred
- Team player with a pleasant disposition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, service-oriented mindset; able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Knowledge of a second language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or other regional languages) is a plus
- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Familiarity with mobile applications to guide shoppers on app platforms
