The client is establishing a 300mm semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility in Singapore.

Position: Associate Engineer (Process/Equipment)
Location: East Singapore
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Pattern: 12-hour Rotating Shift
Role Summary:
This role will be part of the operations team, ensuring smooth wafer fabrication processes across modules such as Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Diffusion, CMP, CVD, or PVD.
You will play a key role in driving equipment performance, uptime, and process stability, supporting continuous improvement in a highly dynamic wafer fab environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment uptime, productivity, and continuous improvement (CIP).
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repair to sustain production line stability.
- Manage spare parts and maintenance planning to ensure operational readiness.
- Work closely with Engineers to analyze issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive initiatives to improve machine performance and enhance equipment capability.
- Comply with cleanroom protocols and safety regulations while working in a controlled environment.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, or other Engineering-related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab as an Associate Engineer (process or equipment).
- Prior experience in a 12-inch (300mm) wafer fab is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including night shifts.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
