Job Scope
Design and develop automation equipment and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop innovative automation solutions
Troubleshoot and optimise existing automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications and documentation
Ensure automation designs meet safety, quality and regulatory standards
Provide technical support and training to production teams on the use of automated systems
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in automation design, preferably in the semiconductor industry
Proficient in CAD software, PLC programming and automation control systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
