Main Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities within the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct monthly credit assessments and implement effective credit control protocols
- Oversee authorization of digital banking transactions, including GIRO, PayNow, TT, and FAST
- Manage cash and bank operations with a focus on accuracy and procedural integrity
- Prepare monthly cash flow projections and monitor project costing and work-in-progress metrics
- Review and interpret consolidated monthly financial reports across group entities
- Drive the preparation of annual financial statements and budget forecasts
- Compile and submit monthly and quarterly consolidation packages within stipulated timelines
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and corporate secretaries to support statutory and financial matters
- Contribute to ad hoc assignments and cross-functional initiatives as required
Requirement
- Holds a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., Degree, ACCA, CPA)
- Brings at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Well-versed in international accounting standards such as FRS115 and FRS116
- Prior exposure to the construction or engineering sector is advantageous
