Job Scope
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on related optical equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with optical systems, identifying and resolving problems efficiently
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and minimise downtime
Document and maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
Provide technical support and training to end-users on the proper operation and care of optical equipment
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in optical engineering
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in any Engineering related course
Minimum 2 years of hands‐on experience as an Optics Service Engineer or in a similar role
Proven expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of optical equipment
Excellent problem‐solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non‐technical stakeholders
