What you'll be doing
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address complex engineering challenges
- Develop and oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Analyse data, interpret findings, and provide recommendations to drive process improvements and optimisation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements, and apply this knowledge to enhance our capabilities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within the semiconductor or related product manufacturing industry
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, with a deep understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and quality control
- Proficient in project management, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
