In addition to delivering feature-rich systems, our teams focus on building systems for humans by emphasising user experiences and automation.

We believe in technology as a critical enabler to allow organisations to achieve more.

We are looking for a designer who excels in distilling complex user workflows and crafting coherent experiences, to lead the design of new and existing products.

Own the end-to-end design process, in close partnership with product managers and engineers, to create and rapidly iterate on concepts through design exploration, ideation and user validation
Drive appropriate user research activities such as discovery interviews, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, post-launch feedback, metrics review, and the translation of research insights into actionable recommendations
Balance between the practicalities of user requirements and business needs
Align the execution of design with the rest of the product and design organisation
Present design solutions to stakeholders, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience designing solutions for software applications

Good awareness of software development processes and frontend development technologies
Requirements (Preferred qualifications)
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Prior experience helping others grow in design proficiency will be an added advantage
We know that applying to a new role takes a lot of time and effort.

To facilitate the process, a link to your professional portfolio, showcasing a few functional designs that you have developed, is required as part of your application.

Please do detail your role and involvement in these projects.

There will be no take-home design exercises – only an on-site whiteboarding session with members from the product team.

What we offer / Culture
As an early member of our design team, you will have strong influence over how our design culture grows.

You will also get to define how enterprise-type SAAS applications can balance function and form, whilst working with a team of product managers and engineers also passionate about bringing our products to the next level.

The work you do here will impact Singapore’s national security needs, and be based on cutting-edge digital technologies.

At CSIT, we approach work with professionalism, a high bar for excellence, and a sense of humour whilst keeping sane working hours.

We believe strongly in innovation and teamwork, and that ideas can come from bottom up.

Integrity is core to our identity.
