Job Responsibilities
Lead and oversee overall plant maintenance operations, including key utility and production equipment such as Boiler steam generation, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Odour Containment System with chemical scrubber, Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system, Chillers, cooling towers, and chilled water recirculation, Air compressors and nitrogen distribution, Production equipment (spray dryers, powder blenders, liquid mixers/tanks, etc.)
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous, reliable system performance with minimal operational disruption.
Monitor equipment performance and system inspections to identify early signs of wear, damage, or malfunction, and initiate timely corrective actions or coordinate with vendors/contractors for repair or replacement.
Maintain and regularly update comprehensive maintenance documentation, including service reports, utility logs, calibration records, and maintenance Work Instruction (WI) / Risk Assessment (RA) tailored for production equipment, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Assist in budgeting and resource management, including preparation and management of annual maintenance and utilities budgets
Provide leadership, technical guidance, training, and supervision to Maintenance and Utilities Technicians.
Collaborate closely with plant managers, supervisors, and production teams to coordinate, prioritize maintenance tasks, and implement system improvements.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in utilities, equipment maintenance and calibration.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding technical teams.
Extensive hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical.
Solid knowledge of calibration practices for production and utility equipment.
Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
