Your day at NTT DATAA UX (User Experience) Consultant is responsible for enhancing the usability, accessibility, and overall satisfaction provided by digital products and services.
The consultant collaborates with clients and internal teams to research, design, and optimise user experiences across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
The role requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and excellent communication to deliver solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user behaviours and needs.Analyse current user journeys and identify pain points, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.Develop user personas, customer journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.Collaborate with stakeholders—including product managers, designers, developers, and marketing teams—to align UX strategies with business goals.Provide actionable recommendations and present findings to clients in a clear and compelling manner.Facilitate workshops and design sprints to generate ideas and co-create solutions with teams.Stay up to date with UX best practices, trends, and emerging technologies, ensuring recommendations are current and relevant.Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout project phases and organisational processes.Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Proven experience in UX design, research, or consulting roles.Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process and successful project outcomes.Desirable Attributes
Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams.Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.Consulting experience with a range of industries and client types.Workplace type:
