Responsibilities
Operationalize the Data Governance Framework in accordance with regulatory standards and business objectives. Ensure regulatory compliance with standards such as BCBS 239, implementing Collibra workflows to support data quality and lineage requirements. Collaborate with IT and Business Units to facilitate data governance processes across the organization. Understand and enforce data governance policies and business process integration to uphold data integrity and accessibility. Manage and configure the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including metadata repositories, business glossaries, and data lineage workflows including roles & permissions.
Metadata and Lineage Management: Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage and business glossaries within Collibra. Design and implement data quality rules and monitoring workflows using Collibra Data Quality tools, aligning them with regulatory requirements. Build and maintain workflows to support data governance processes, such as data issue management, data stewardship, and approval processes. Integrate Collibra with other bank systems such as Azure Data Platform, Vermeg, Moodys Risk Confidence, and Alteryx for seamless metadata and data quality management. Collibra Reporting & Dashboards: Develop reports and dashboards within Collibra to monitor key data quality metrics and governance KPIs. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Collibra performance and functionality. Conduct training sessions for Data Stewards and stakeholders on using Collibra effectively. Staying up to date with the latest Collibra features and releases and recommending upgrades and enhancements. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Collibra (must have) and CDMP / CIMP are preferred. Min.
8 years in data governance roles, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and Collibra Data Quality. Proven experience in banking or financial services, including knowledge of regulatory standards such as BCBS 239, IFRS9, and MAS reporting. Deep understanding of Collibra architecture, data model, and API, Proficiency in configuring Collibra workflows, assets, domains, communities, and setting up data quality rules.
Experience integrating Collibra with data lakes (e.g., Azure Data Platform) and using APIs for data ingestion, Strong SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation
