This job is for a Vice President, Regulatory Reporting Operations Professional (NFRR), Global Operations.

This role is responsible for providing analysis for one or more operations product areas in the delivery of moderately complex regulatory reporting and/or regulatory processing, and for coordinating across multiple operations functions with new initiatives, systems, products, services and processes.
It includes preparation of non-financial regulatory reporting (NFRR) across multiple APAC regimes for Global Markets and related business divisions, and providing analytical support in a Global Markets operations function.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve highly complex operations problems, projects and initiatives; coordinate across multiple functions for new initiatives, systems, products, services and processes.
- Prepare non-financial regulatory reporting (NFRR) under relevant regulatory reporting laws across multiple APAC regimes for Global Markets and other related business divisions.
- Provide analytical support in a Global Markets operations function for one or more operations product areas.
- Lead or support projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes; coordinate expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5+ years of experience; professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA) preferred
- Experience in Operations/Finance/Risk/Compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking industry, equities, bonds, currencies, and derivative products
- High level understanding of global markets and wealth management business divisions
- Strong technical and data analytical skills (Excel, and other similar applications) with experience in analyzing and reporting from large structured data
- Able to produce accurate work output and reports under tight deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication, with ability to tailor messaging to the audience
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and operational excellence experience
- Ability to think critically to quickly analyze and resolve issues
- Influences and delivers results through collaborative relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Works independently to prioritize work and meet regulatory deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrates high integrity and a mature approach to work
Desired Skills
- Audit experience
- Knowledge of key regulatory reporting rules within the region of coverage
- Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and/or regulatory exams
- Regulatory reporting experience in a global markets environment or exposure to position/transaction processes/life cycle
- Experience in global banking regulatory reporting or exposure to deposit/liability balance reports and payment transactions
- Experience in technology implementation projects to meet complex reporting requirements
