About the Role
As the Visual & Retail Merchandiser for the group of brands, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing retail design spaces as well as visual merchandising strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive sales across all physical touch points.
These include brand kiosks, partner retailer spaces, trade shows and more.

Internal – Business development / Sales/ Purchasing/ Graphics and Marketing
Create customer-focused concepts
Ensure seamless logistics and operational flow through designing
Business driver mindset
Planning
Brand guide & Adaptation - Work alongside with the Visual & Retail Merchandiser Lead and Business development to shape and elevate brand guides (retail design to visual merchandizing), adapt accordingly to retailer’s needs and requirements.
POSMs & Retro planning – Design, plan and implement according to timeline
Budgeting – compare price quotes from contractors
Execution
Brand identity - Assists in maintaining brand consistency across all retail locations (local/international) through design guidelines and specifications.
Train and guide store staffs on visual standards and best practices.
Market research - Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising execution and provide feedback
Report - Analyze sales data and customer feedbacks to refine merchandising strategies
Popup/ trade shows (Local & Internationally)
Willing to travel locally/ internationally
Design proposal - Create 3D drawings and specifications for design proposal decks to present to necessary stakeholders.
Budgeting - Nominate appropriate vendors based on set budget
Logistics - Prepare necessary POSMs for set ups
Project management – On-site setup for structural and merchandising displays based on retail design / VM expertise.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior design, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail/interior design
Versatility in designing across various styles
Expertise in visual merchandising and retail design- encompassing product placement, customer experience, signage, lighting, and other elements that enhances store presentation.
High proficiency in 2D and 3D design softwares (e.g. Autocad, Sketchup, Lumion)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of graphic design software is a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign)
Awareness of budget management
Ability to manage multiple projects across various brands simultaneously
Weekend activations for pop-ups/ trade shows.
Willing to travel for set up and market research
