Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services.
In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning flows, expertise in cash and working capital finance is an invaluable asset.
With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows.
Cash Management, together with Trade Finance, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Account Services, & Liquidity Management are critical to support client’s cash management needs and support the bank’s liability book
Key Accountabilities
This is a Group Product Management role which will drive pricing discipline and deposit portfolio profitability while enabling sustainable volume growth for Institutional Banking Group (IBG) deposits across the group.
By building and executing a strong data driven operating model, the candidate will ensure the following outcomes are delivered -
Margin Protection & Revenue Uplift – Ensure active management of deposit pricing and margin in response to changing external rates across all DBS marketsEnable sustainable volume growth by identifying growth drivers, tracking attrition and concentration by markets and currenciesDrive Frontline Awareness on portfolio performance by running regular cadences with Sales/RMs across all DBS markets and equipping them with data-backed insights, to influence action on volume and pricing outcomes.Enhance data assets for robust portfolio monitoring by segments, markets and currencies across the groupJob Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitiveness of our offerings.
Where gaps are identified, partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute tactical and strategic measuresFor new product development, be able to create a comprehensive business road-map ahead of any product development, thereafter, be able to create a clear vision on the value proposition, articulate functional requirements and drive application development with Technology partners.
Support User Acceptance Testing and Live Verification to ensure completeness and integrity of final delivered solutions for a seamless customer experienceIdentify risks and mitigate through legal documentation, product control and tight operational processConduct data analytics on the liabilities base and provide ongoing insights on assigned segment portfolioProactively engage segment partners to devise and drive segment strategies which contribute to the acquisition, retention and growth of customers and operating account balancesOwn product governance for all assigned products in the portfolio including compliance with regulatory requirements and bank standards, management of risk issues and financial discipline and profitabilityRequirements
Min 5-10 years banking experience.
Knowledge of deposit products will be an advantagePossess strong data analytical skills for portfolio management with ability to ask the right questions of large amounts of dataTranslate data analyses into actionable insightsManaging projects working with multiple stakeholders across various marketsGood interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsGraduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Mathematics or related discipline-en
