Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Project Manager
to lead complex, high-impact initiatives that drive transformation across UOB’s business and technology landscape.
You will manage projects end-to-end — ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and quality — while fostering innovation, leveraging data and AI, and enabling long-term growth for the Bank.
Responsible for the overall delivery of the project (Quality, Scope, Budget) from initiation through execution and closure.
Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Anticipate, capture and manage overall project risks and issues.
Own mitigation and drive resolution to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare overall implementation plan taking inputs from all stakeholders including technology, business, operations, regulators, and drive execution by respective owners
Continually manage stakeholder expectations through clear governance and effective communication.
Deliver executive-level updates on milestones, dependencies, and overall project status to leadership and stakeholders.
Manage relationships with partners across teams (Business Units, Operations, Technology, Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance) to drive alignment and ensure seamless delivery.
Leverage data & AI on project delivery, optimize outcomes, and inform decision-making.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare documentation, and provide metrics/reporting as required.
Drive re-engineering of processes and introduction of new technologies to improve efficiency and client experience.
Champion outcome focused delivery methodologies to deliver change at pace.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by creative problem-solving and adoption of new solutions, including automation and AI.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in project management or related discipline in banking, investments, or financial services.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Product Framework, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform under pressure, and adapt to evolving requirements.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Preferred
Exposure to automation and AI-driven project enhancements.
Experience in Client Onboarding, Banking Operations or Digital Banking
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Exposure to driving innovation initiatives within financial services.
