Responsibilities
Technical Focus
- Technical Delivery: Ensure successful execution and delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- System Design and Analysis: Envision and design end-to-end system solutions, evaluate existing system interactions, and identify improvements.
- Technical Documentation: Gather critical information and produce useful technical documentation.
- Testing Strategy: Drive and manage testing cycles, ensuring resolution of critical and high defects.
- Digital Banking Knowledge: Understand digital banking products and system interactions.
Management Focus
- Project Management: Develop, review, and update project plans, resources, budgets, and timeframes.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships, including escalation, expectation, conflict, and scope changes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage technical teams, focusing on delivering banking systems and solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks and issues, with timely escalation when necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure work deliverables comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of hands-on experience in technical delivery and/or technology implementation.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the banking industry, especially in the Banking Payments Domain, is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and large-scale application development.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Demonstrated experience in solutioning and system design, including integration with API Gateways, microservices, and high-volume batch processing.
- Proficient in unit testing, web and API mocking, and object-oriented design using UML and object modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, as well as modern source control and development environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
