VP/AVP, End User Collaborative Service (Ops), Future Ready Technology, Group Technology
Role overview: This role reports to the End User Collaborative Service – Operations lead.
You will provide support for Office 365 (O365) and mobility services, contribute to testing of new products and roll-out preparation, and manage a team supporting the administration and operations of the solutions.
The role includes overlap with Active Directory, O365 services, and Intune infrastructure with a primary focus on managing Office 365 services.
Responsibilities
- Implement changes to the End User Collaborative Service.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and tune the collaborative service.
- Provide ongoing operations support including OS releases, upgrades, service pack installations, bug fixes, security updates, and system change activities.
- Develop scripting and automation to improve operations.
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configurations, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with other IT teams (networking, security, data center operations) to engineer, and resolve issues.
- Develop policies, processes, and procedures.
- Create and execute communication plans for end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 5 years of Microsoft infrastructure deployment and support experience.
- Experience with Mac OS, Android, iOS, Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD, SCCM, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN.
- Cloud computing experience with Office 365 and Google Apps.
- Technical knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016, VMs, and DNS.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management solutions.
- Experience researching emerging technologies and applying them to business, including thorough testing before deployment.
- PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Strong analytical, management, and planning abilities.
- Knowledge of program and project management methodologies; proven IT project delivery; problem-solving skills; creative process improvements.
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist or equivalent certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies; project management experience; experience in banking environment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
