GFM Operations - GFM Ops operates as a Regional Processing Centre (Hub & Spoke) supporting GFM businesses in the region.
The hub and spoke model allow GFM business to scale up while remaining agile in product and service offerings in the fast, evolving market environment.
As GFM business expands product offerings in the region coupled with the dynamic regulatory environment, GFM Ops leverages on this unique advantage to continue to standardize processes to manage processing risk and to facilitate automation as well as governance of service level and quality.
Responsibilities
Provide robust support for E2E processing of Fixed Income ProductsResponsible for E2E processing, smooth completion and settlement of the daily operations for Bonds/ReposPerform validation for all Bond/Repo trades against source documents in Murex &/or Front Arena systemExecute pre-settlement confirmation with counterpartiesLiaise with the respective local GFM branches, CBG, WMO or Common Depository on fixing or settlement, where necessaryPerform month-end bond holdings reconciliation between Murex and Custodians/Common DepositoryEnsure compliance to general banking/statutory requirements and requirements of both internal & regulators complianceProvide robust support and consistently high service levels for all stakeholders/clientsEngage with managers to contribute ideas and solutions on risk management areaInvolve in data and business analytics to support business growth.Leverage data analytics and support data driven operating model i.e. Value map to drive pre-defined outcomesEstablish collaboration across different support units and T&M business by Managing through journeyRequirements
At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations with knowledge on market and industry requirements for settlementAbility to debug problem caused by hardware, operating system software, application programs, or network failureAbility to participate in weekend/late night LVs.Ability to work extended hours (typically including, but not limited to Mondays (across weekend), post holidays, month end weeks) due to surge in volume during these periods.Ability to work on SG public holidays when the need arises.Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet various currency cutoff times and customer’s specific SLA with zero error rate.Speed & Accuracy — Role requires prompt processing of transactions whilst maintaining vigilance & accuracy over the manual repairs and inputs.Zero tolerance for error/ambiguity – role entails posting financial transactions on daily basis; and entails high financial exposure risk.Teamwork, Dependability, Strong risk & controls mindset and meticulous.Apply Now
